Tasting notes

The Chateau de Pasquette St. Emilion Grand Cru comes from vines with an average age of 35 years that are farmed sustainably on predominantly sandy and silty/clay soils. That is mostly vinified in stainless steel and spends 18 months in barrel. This is wonderfully approachable with lots of easy going redcurrant fruit, hints of mocha and well-integrated vanilla. The tannins are silky and fine giving an elegant mouthfeel and hugely enjoyable.
