WINERY HISTORY
Situated in the village of Vendres, on the Mediterranean coast of France, Domaine La Yole is run by a family of winegrowers who grow vines and produce Languedoc wines using traditional techniques with origins going back to around 2000 years! Officially registered as winemakers since 1771, Roman remains can be found in our vineyards, testament to winemaking activity present in our soil since the birth of Europe.
Over almost 110 hectares of clay and chalk soil and siliceous sands, our 444,000 vine stocks produce around 700,000 litres of wine every year. 12 people work for around 20,000 hours in order to offer 14 different wines to our 11,000-strong clientele each year.
WINE MAKING PROCESSES
The grapes were harvested by hand and aged in the French oak barrels within 8 months.
