WINERY HISTORY
Château Tour Prignac is located in the town of Prignac-en-Medoc and is one of the largest estates in the Medoc region. Chateau was founded in 1856 by Mr. Seignouret. In 1935 the estate was sold to the Spanish Army General Duke Del Infantado, then a period of stagnation and conservation of vineyards. In 1973, the family acquired Château Castel total area of 147 hectares with vineyards class Cru Bourgeois and breathed new life into it. Immediately did a great job on the restoration and modernization of the estate. Vineyards growing on limestone and clay-sandy soil, mainly planted with traditional varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
WINE MAKING PROCESSES
The grapes are harvested and fermented within 16 days. Then it is aged 12-18 months in French oak barrels.
